Case in Point, NEVER skip the Business 501(c)3 Entity Lookups, and Watch the “Fiscal Agent” organizations! (UNESCO, Edward Charles Foundation, Fiscal Agent to “FreedomAdvocates” and, apparently, the Stars (post begun 7/3/2016)
Overall, the sequence of information intersects both at UNESCO and Rutgers and in that post, through the question — why that fiscal agent (Edward Charles Foundation) to process contributions, and why, as it turns out, that registered agent, too? I posted the figures on WPDI. This post, in the bottom section, shows tax returns of Edward Charles Foundation.
reviews the “Agenda 21” and that lawsuit against its application to the San Francisco nine-county Bay Area (Northern California), and gets into the actual Edward Charles Foundation (“ECF”) and at Freedom Advocates tax returns, and uncovers a different name used by the latter for the IRS filing than at the State level, as well as that Freedom Advocates only filed in 2006 and 2008, that I can see. ECF is how I found out about the Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative, Inc. (“WPDI”) in part looking for ECJ’s contributions to “Peace Foundation” business entity, not found; meanwhile, the original incarnation (name) for the Whitaker Institute showed a website “peacearth.org” (no longer valid), while a Form 990-N, which has a blank for “website” in 2012 showed “none.”
Odd, for an organization talking about the media campaigns it is running overseas and as part of original articles of incorporation statement of intended activities, to not have a website up and running.

CONNECTIONS to UNESCO
and 17 World-Transforming “SDGs”
(And short side-trips to The Port Authority of NY/NJ, and an award to a Duluth, MN organization from the “World Future Council” — based in London, Geneva, Hamburg,(Germany) and Beijing …. (etc.))
doubling the size of this post, belongs here because without it, I doubt readers would understand why I seem so intent on the situation represented by ECF and Freedom Advocates, which by comparison aren’t that large, and are in fact very recent in origin.
NOTE: There is a section on “World Future Council” and under it, “Nuclear Peace Age Foundation.” As informative and/or entertaining as that segment is, I may move it to a separate place post-publication. Before such removal, we are looking here at 18,282 words..
After seeing similar disconcerting FISCAL behavior by several inter-related organizations, mostly with a UNESCO connection, I think this subterranean fact should be exposed when it comes to the “Sustainable Development” /Healthy Communities / Conflict Resolution / Violence Prevention and particularly “PEACE and DEVELOPMENT” rhetoric coming at us from all angles, these days.
Again, what’s “peaceful” or “just” about setting up alternate forms of government via nonprofits, and then those nonprofits not even behaving properly under (See last post!) basic business laws of the USA?
I discovered pretty quickly in using the NY/NY Port Authority as an example, that (a) the coordinated tax-exempt foundations (the big ones) and (b) UNESCO “name it and claim it” policy is moving in on the US, one case involving the recently bankrupt (?) and devastated City of Detroit.
This connects to the family court and domestic violence networks, as they themselves are working the UN goals already. Working those goals requires the participation of NGOs and the tax-exempt sector. Somehow what no one wants to have significant conversation about is what the tax-exempt sector is doing to the peace, justice, sustainability, gender equity, children’s rights, etc. goals (along with climate change) that seem to be the justification for world-transformation at the global (NOT politically-represented by local elected officials WITHIN each country) level.
Push either one just a little further, and you’ll find UNESCO involvement and the basic big tax-exempt foundations from the USA… “How nice…”)
“Agenda 21” appears to be another name for certain UN “Sustainable-Development” type goals. What these look like now — 17 goals for “Transforming the world” put in a chart (interesting, 17 is a prime number):
In the larger picture, we are looking about how US residents and citizens are regarded in the global world transformation and development planning process… this is about taxation and tax-exempt entities as a means to cloud accountability, accelerate the transformation — and discourage LOCAL, informed debate or consent on the transformation itself. Along the lines of overcoming national sovereignty by simply out-flanking it, or out-sourcing its activities.
From the perspective of those running this theatre– it’s also about profit.
“DEVELOPMENT” is for trade, commerce, and profit. Claiming it’s not, and that the real motive is philanthropic — well, if so, then how come others haven’t brought up the problems with the nonprofits to this degree, or the warehousing of government income-producing assets, post-World War II?
(As evidenced in the system of financial statements (CAFRs) regulated by a US-Canada Government Finance Officers Association?). What’s philanthropic about government as a for-profit operation using the population as its line of credit, and lecturing them about debt, while hiding the revenue-producing assets in other parts of the CAFRs, and multiplying forms of inter-jurisdictional governments and JPAs for infrastructures where the citizens have no say — but which they must pay to utilize after also being saddled with the debt to finance…). Separate topics, but for reference, a well-known one, the Port Authority of NY/NJ formed in 1921, and among its more famous infrastructures were (the ones that collapsed on 9/11/2001 AND the replacement ones) is the World Trade Center.
Not that I’m agreeing or disagreeing with the next Bloomberg summary but it provides a summary of what the Port District and this Authority encompasses:
The Port District, roughly the area within 25 miles of the Statue of Liberty, has a population of 18 million and a gross domestic product of more than $1 trillion, which would make it 15th biggest in the world if it were a separate country. It’s a gateway between the U.S. and the rest of the world. When the Port Authority was created in 1921, it was an exemplar of Progressive Era efficiency and freedom from corruption. Woodrow Wilson, who was governor of New Jersey from 1911 until his inauguration as president in 1913, helped lay the groundwork for it. Within a period of just four years the agency built the George Washington Bridge, then the world’s longest suspension bridge, and three other spans connecting New York and New Jersey. In 1937 it opened the first tube of the Lincoln Tunnel. The Port Authority was one of the few institutions capable of standing up to Robert Moses, the “Master Builder” who reigned over New York from the 1920s to the 1960s.
Gradually, things deteriorated. A turning point was the decision in the 1960s to build a “world trade center” in lower Manhattan. To many observers, that looked a lot more like economic development for New York City than a bi-state transportation or port project. New Jersey’s appointees on the Port Authority board didn’t want the agency to take on the project. To win their support, the New York-appointed commissioners agreed that the Port Authority would take over and operate a bankrupt commuter railroad whose tunnels ran under the Hudson River. It became the PATH. …
Then came the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, which killed 84 employees of the Port Authority, including its executive director. The Port Authority had completed a long-term lease of the World Trade Center weeks earlier. The first years after the tragedy were chaotic. Eventually the Port Authority was pulled back in to build and operate key parts of the new center. Because of design decisions made before it got reinvolved, the 1,776-foot-tall 1 World Trade Center (aka “the Freedom Tower”) is perhaps the world’s most expensive office building at $3.2 billion. A new transit hub designed by the superstar Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava costs about $4 billion. It has vast expanses of white marble, and a spiky centerpiece, called the Oculus, looks like a cathedral from the inside and a mutant stegosaurus from the outside.
Do you think governmental control and authority of this scope of assets “just might” affect politics, let alone business, some? Again, HOW many people died on 9/11 and how was the country further restructured after and because of it, blaming this (of course) on the planes — and nothing else — as the cause of collapse, and dismissing the concept of a planned demolition (clients — leasing office space — and those unfortunate enough to be doing business with them on that day — inside).
The equivalent would be like doing a building demo anywhere else, such as to some eyesore SRO hotel, perhaps, or other form of ‘slum clearance’ with the renters, and any of their visitors still inside — by setting charges in advance (because a wrecking ball would be advance notice, and too obvious) — only for the World Trade Towers, MUCH larger and more devastating.
Now here it is, all broken down and destroyed, and the above article (which is not talking about how the towers went down at all) again referencing the role of the Port Authority in rebuilding it and how this “incidentally” also killed one executive director OF that Port Authority….
And here’s the solicitation for contracting with the major infrastructure redevelopment:
More Public/Private Partnerships for infrastructure re-development. Check out some of the sponsor icons to this conference being held soon at CUNY (see image caption):
“PortauthorityNYNJConf.com” shows upcoming 9/21/2016 CUNY (City University of NY) conference for Construction Industry, “Building Relationships for Lasting Success” and talking about the major reconstruction/development projects with this Port Authority
Building Relationships for Lasting Success
Construction and design professionals throughout the region will learn about new opportunities with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ). This event will address new opportunities afforded by the agency’s 10-year capital plan for your business The 2014-2023 plan includes $27.6 billion in major regional infrastructure projects.
. …
As transit across the region continues its strong resurgence, the agency is also modernizing the PATH system, including mitigation and resilience projects aimed at hardening this essential trans Hudson service. A new Harrison Station and World Trade Center Transportation Hub are part of the comprehensive plan.
As part of a Quality of Commute effort, the agency has also authorized $90 million in capital funding to enhance customer experience and improve passenger commuting at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Learn how your firm can support these efforts. This conference will highlight how MWSDBEs will be able to access work with the Port Authority and become certified to bid or be eligible for set aside work
This “Authority” is referenced on the State of NJ CAFR, (presumably in NY as well as NJ), as I pointed out in recent post with “Rutgers” in its title. A recent list of articles at the NYT shows just how the political clout works as involving this particular major operation, the Port Authority.
There’s been plenty of reporting on what to do about the corruption involved in compiling control of this huge, and critical infrastructure in an Authority, as regards governors of both state and their high-level political appointees or public servants. Among the scandals over this one I see already at least one former attorney general and transportation commissioner, and (if you’re following the news) this summer at one point, Governor Christie of NJ was being considered by Donald Trump as a potential Vice President.
But you’d need to read my post on this to make the connection with the CAFRs, and THAT connection through the major tax-exempt foundations involved to another UNESCO program (endorsed by said foundations), now it’s not called “Strong Cities Network” but “Design Cities” and guess which one is first on the map in the USA? — The recently devastated and bankrupt (allegedly), Detroit. What is really going on here, in the UNESCO-takeover of US Public Institutions, whether Cities, or the Family Courts (i.e., as run by internationally-oriented, subject-matter focused trade associations, as I believe THIS blog, at least, has convincingly shown over several years)? NYT articles on this topic, most recent near the top, among them: Christie “Flat-out Lied” in Bridge Case, Aide Says (8/10/2016 by Patrick McGeehan)
Curiosity helps understanding. I was curious about the Port Authority, made a mental note, did a search, started reading. Go see that other post (active when published!) — no room for it on this one. This post currently titled:
Photo from NYT 8/10/2016 article in NY/Region, “Christie ‘Flat-Out Lied” says Aide…”
The tax-exempt and NGOs and “redevelopment” of recently devastated, drained, or destroyed by violence and conflict communities, neighborhoods, and cities, GLOBALLY, absolutely relates to the incentives for “transformation” in the form of takeover of assets, infrastructure, transportation (essential for commerce and for people commuting to their jobs, except those who may literally work from home or live in a self-sufficient area).
The overlap and strange concept with eliminating “Poverty” first and “Justice” being next to last… I’m not engaging with the logic of the choice and order of goals. The overall theme (see top left square in graphic) is ‘TRANSFORMING OUR WORLD” and for transformation, of course new forms of power and infrastructures (i.e., government) must be found and the old ones fade in importance, relevance, and of course, subject matter jurisdiction.
Here’s the accompanying image, which so much reminds me of the logo for “The DuluthModel.org”
(at UN.org)
For comparison, look at the rainbow-colored circles, and notice the international scope of the rainbow-colored circle (although the nonprofit involved is public-funded almost entirely by U.S. government grants) “Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs”

So, for “People, Planet and Prosperity,” here’s (some of) the lofty, and vague language that clicking on the “Transforming Our World” Icon led to. Notice however sustainable it is to be, the purpose — and main noun here — is still “DEVELOPMENT.”
This Agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity. It also seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom. We recognise that eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest global challenge and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development. All countries and all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan. We are resolved to free the human race from the tyranny of poverty and want and to heal and secure our planet. We are determined to take the bold and transformative steps which are urgently needed to shift the world onto a sustainable and resilient path. As we embark on this collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets which we are announcing today demonstrate the scale and ambition of this new universal Agenda. They seek to build on the Millennium Development Goals and complete what these did not achieve. They seek to realize the human rights of all and to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
HYPOCRITES!!
They are integrated and indivisible and balance the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic, social and environmental. The Goals and targets will stimulate action over the next fifteen years in areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet:
Re: those two circular, colorful logos, and speaking of lofty, international language, this is from 2014 and still on the DAIP (DuluthModel) site, whose policy demands “Coordinated Community Response” which all seem to like — get them communities “coordinated” (under centralized, systems-model trainings) — have the US Taxpayers fund it of course (DAIP is primarily and has for the most part, been mostly government-financed, both HHS and DOJ/OVW apparently). Here’s another logo, award, and admission that this is a UN-based policy:
at “theDuluthModel.org” look who gave the award, and notice involvement of Rep. Michael Paymar (US legislator, and it says co-founder with Ellen Pence? of this nonprofit) long ago.
“THE DULUTH MODEL”: COORDINATED COMMUNITY RESPONSE (CCR) WINS PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL PRIZE FOR BEST POLICY WORLDWIDE”
Duluth, MN – On Tuesday, October 14, [2014] the Duluth Model’s “Coordinated Community Response to Domestic Violence,” a partnership between Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs (DAIP), and criminal justice agencies of the City of Duluth and St. Louis County, was named world’s best policy. Out of 25 international nominations, the “Duluth Model” was the only policy to be awarded the 2014 Future Policy Award for Ending Violence against Women and Girls, or Gold Award. The Future Policy Award is the only international award which recognizes policies rather than people, and the “Duluth Model” is the first humanitarian policy to be honored in the history of the award.
Emphases (color, bolding, italics) mine, not in the press release. They did not emphasize that is, the PUBLIC/PRIVATE nature of the coordination — which is key to privatizing government and crossing jurisdictions set up for orderly administration of government where the general idea is that government represents the will of the people as expressed through their ELECTED representatives.
Presented by World Future Council, the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and UN Women, Representative Michael Paymar, co-founder of the “Duluth Model,” accepted the prestigious 2014 Future Policy Award for Ending Violence against Women and Girls in Geneva today.
{{Ellen Pence, being deceased two years earlier, could not accept it, obviously. She had a surviving, it seems considerably younger, wife (and through that wife?) child, but perhaps it was not though appropriate for them to be the public recipients. Much better a representative of the “Public” part.}}
Ellen Pence Obituary, 19 January 2012 by Julie Lindel (see bottom phrase). This references her co-authoring a book with Michael Paymar, but does not cite him as a co-founder of DAIP. That he was I first heard from the above news release about this “Future” award.
Ellen Pence, from The Guardian.UK obituary 2012
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Pence earned her BA from the College of St Scholastica in Duluth and a PhD from the University of Toronto. Her mother inspired her to be an activist and, as a young woman, Pence became involved in anti-war, civil rights and homelessness issues. In 1975 she joined the feminist movement against domestic violence, and five years later she moved to Duluth, where, with a group of friends, she came up with the Duluth model.
Pence was a regular visitor to the UK, speaking at conferences and leading training sessions for police, policymakers and refuge workers…
During the past three decades, she published numerous papers and book chapters on institutional responses to the issue of violence against women, and co-authored two books – Education Groups for Men Who Batter: The Duluth Model (with Michael Paymar) in 1993 and Co-ordinating Community Response to Domestic Violence: Lessons from Duluth and Beyond (with Melanie Shepard) in 1999.
Until late 2011, Pence was the executive director of the organisation Praxis International, which she founded in 1998 and is dedicated to the elimination of violence against women
How horrible that she died, and at age 63 for a woman, I’d have to call that prematurely, from breast cancer.
Here’s “PRAXIS INTERNATIONAL” 990s — and a quick look at the latest one shows its dependent on contributions and that those over $2M of contributions are 100% “government grants.” While it earns a modest $117K in training others (Program service revenues) it’s clear from statement of program purpose that its main focus is “Technical Assistance and Training” of OTHER grantees — i.e., likely public civil servants are included, and likely USDOJ/OVW grantees.
“Search Again”
Odd that its executive director (Cynthia Cook) works a 40 hour week for only $16K, while two others, though paid, aren’t paid much (well under $100K). They show 20 employees (no volunteers, no independent contractors (Part VIIB is blank), a Duluth address (but also a St. Paul office per the website) and — just take a look at the financials — and, comparing Summary, Part I to Statement of Expenses, Part IX (which details what’s summarized, obviously), this I think it’s all-woman-led (Part VIIA), and asking yourself what, exactly and by category are they doing?
Taking in government grants — only contributions are government grants, NO private, fund-raising, or federated campaigns (see Statement of Revenues, Part VIII).
Expending this just under half on “Salaries” ($915K for year in question) and just over half on “Other Expenses” ($1.1M for year in question).
Under those Total “Other Expenses of $1.1M,” Part IX shows the breakout on Line 11g includes a high amount is “Other” under the category “Other” (consultants, fees for services, non-employees) — nearly half ~ pushing 1/2 million ~ at $489K.
Schedule O, detailing line 11g, as should be done when it’s more than 10% of total Program Expenses (again, it’s pushing 50% of those expenses) — shows it all ($489K) going to “Program Consultants & Trainer (singular).” In fact, at the very last paragraph of the tax return, a single line-item referring to “Part IX, Line 11g” reads ”
PROGRAM CONSULTANTS & TRAINER 489,362 0 0
As this, noticeably, conceals how many program consultants (or WHICH single, I notice Trainer) and fails to list any entity or individual subcontractor paid over $100K, I think it’s fair to characterize the organization as taking in $2.1M of government grants and, as far as the IRS form is concerned, effectively concealing TO WHOM almost 1/4,, or almost 0.5M of that, went. Could it be someone else in the DV Cartel?
If this were a California organization, it would be required to file a statement, with contact numbers, of from which government entities it took the grants, every single year.
Meanwhile, the graphics of Praxis (the word simply means “practice” and refers to, in opposition to theory, I suppose) International show its overall purpose is as a systems change catalyst:
Exploration of “Praxis” colorful and Graphics/Icon-heavy website show that it has four basic programs (corresponding to the four colorful slides showing on the home page) with earth-tones (orange/rust-colored frame, purple, green, red, etc.), one of them being Pence’s “Institutional Analysis” that she picked up from her time studying this at Toronto. It also admits that it’s rooted in sociology and that page, at least references the number of a supporting USDOJ grant:
“This project is supported by Grant #2015-TA-AX-K056 awarded by the Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice. “
The website is simple and clean in organization. You can see through the labeling that the “institutional analysis” does not include the institution of the family courts — as any labeled entity. They are talking about police and 911 responses, i.e., primarily the criminal system. There is of course no reference to the existence of any such beast as “PRWORA” (welfare reform as a U.S. Act of Congress the same year the group was founded, “coincidentally.”)
REGARDING TRYING TO TRACK A USDOJ GRANT (by its # and who were the grantees of that particular number) somewhere on the USDOJ website — forget it. They have no such database. A sense of where it might be going would be better found piecemeal by a Google search, unfortunately. Which is itself a statement on how little it matters (to the USDOJ administrators) whether or not the public can track its grants. I have an upcoming post on this, but wanted to show just two results for that particular (exact) grants #, and reference also that Battered Women’s Justice Project website acknowledges that a similar grant # (ending K058) was involved in its web page….among others:
(I cannot make the next link active — copy to address field to view full-size):
With apologies to my reader, I’m posting the “History” page of this one; the organization is apparently “Center for Domestic Peace” but the website features the “TRANSFORM” and CAPACITY-BUILDING” as well as their program name which relates to the TCAT process.
I remember running across this information as a battered single mother BEFORE my kids were stolen, and scouring the internet for sources of help; realizing this was “technical assistance and training” and not a source of help, that is, after the organizations they’d also been training, had failed to — because the situation was in the family court now…
The website reflects some of the many funders (see link) also it has been calling upon. Too bad individuals can’t call directly (again for post-separation help with ONGOING DV issues) on many of those funders, either. Somehow all are more interested in capacity-building, training, and things that can be done through webinars or downloadable curricula.
Founded by the Center for Domestic Peace in 1997, Transforming Communities: Technical Assistance, Training, and Resource Center (TC-TAT), initially established to document and disseminate the best practices of its local prevention work and other successful community mobilization campaigns. TC-TAT has since delivered multi-cultural TAT to more than 6,000 individuals and 229 teams of practitioners nationally within the violence against women field. Over the years, TC-TAT has grown to be a nationally-recognized domestic violence and sexual assault primary prevention TAT specialist that is unique for its practice-based methodology as well as organizational development approach. Using a public health approach, gender-role analysis, and social movement theory to address the root causes of violence against women and girls, TC-TAT helps to build the capacity of violence against women organizations, allied organizations, and communities to do prevention work, strengthens, expands and mobilizes the prevention movement, and informs and influences policy and funding for prevention.
TC-TAT’s unique integration of theory and practice supports TC-TAT to be a leader in facilitating dialogue, advancing learning, generating new thinking and disseminating best practices.
TC-TAT’s capacity is reflected via its accomplishments:
Delivered statewide TAT in California on VAW prevention through 18 major contracts with state and federal agencies (2002-2014), with a focus on underserved populations (communities with disabilities, of faith, geographically-isolated/rural, and monolingual immigrants);
Currently providing TAT on organizational capacity building to grantees funded by the Office on Violence Against Women (2012-14);
Piloted two national TAT tracks for a previous OVW TA grant (2006-09), with outcomes related to systems, organizational, and individual levels of change documented in the final publication “Leadership + Systems Change = Sustainability;”
Served as the TA provider for the California Department of Public Health’s three-year (2008-11) prevention project, focusing on capacity building of organizations to provide comprehensive local VAW prevention programs across California;
Served as a national TAT provider for the CDC’s DELTA program’s 14 state DV coalitions and their CCRs (2004-2005);
Served as a California Dept. of Health Services statewide TAT provider on prevention for 35 projects (1997-2002);
Assembled multiple project advisory committees and multicultural training teams that have generated and piloted new leading-edge curricula, with documented outcomes; and
Created tools for evaluation, policy change, and community mobilization via numerous publications, toolkits, & materials disseminated nationally.
And, the 990s show it’s not doing too bad, at least as of 2014:
(dba Marin Abused Women’s Services in San Rafael, CA). I see what’s going on there, but not commenting much on it here — they combine actually running a shelter (and programs for violent men, women, and youth, etc.) with the training program. The “$8M” assets above are gross assets; they are holding about $5M (depreciated) land and equipment, and $2.4 in “Other investments” — seems well balanced (as described in Schedule A, I think it is) — and donated $48K only in grants to “Client services.” NO subcontractors. Most of the money is going to their 48 employees. The board and officers are all women; however only 3 officers are actually paid.
THE WORLD FUTURE COUNCIL, and COUNCILLORS:
World Future Council is, notably, NOT based in the United States of America, but like many that are, has a grandiose claim about who it’s representing, globally:
From “worldfuturecouncil.org” (2016/02 upload) where else?
“We envision a sustainable, just and peaceful future where universal rights are respected. To achieve this, we research, identify and spread the best and most sustainable policy solutions worldwide.”
“The WFC Head Office is located in Hamburg with further offices in London, Geneva and Beijing. Our Councillors work on all five continents. Contact us for further information.”
I see they have 9 program areas, represented by large circles each with a photo and title, as opposed to the 17 SDGs. However read the language of self-description and why the name “Future” — they wish to COUNCIL on DECISION-MAKING. Globally. Period. They are the “change-makers” or transformers of the globe (self-contained as a council called together by its originator “Jakob von Uexkull” founder of the “Alternative Nobel Prize“, only in about 2007, as it would appear). Interesting — right before that major mortgage-based meltdown in 2008 in the USA involving MERS and causing a major recession, followed by a version of the US PRWORA (Budget) Act of Congress, short title “American Recovery and Reinvesment Act” AKA, “ARRA”
Did someone have advance knowledge of that impending melt-down, timed approximately to the last year of President George W. Bush’s post-9/11 second term? ??
Decisions we make today will have consequences for many generations to come. The World Future Council (WFC) consists of 50 eminent global change-makers from governments, parliaments, civil society, academia, the arts and business who have already successfully created change.
We make politicians aware that they have an ethical responsibility to assess every decision-making process on the basis of how it will affect future generations. In close collaboration with civil society groups, members of parliament, governments, businesses and international organisations we research future just policies and legislation.
Their’ market niche” then is “Politicians,” presumably without regard to in which countries. Without specification, that means “globally.” We are talking, influencing governments.
We then advise political decision-makers, offer them tried and tested courses of action and support them in the concrete implementation of new policies with the goal of ensuring that their decisions are always made in accordance with sustainability and intergenerational fairness.
There’s that “Sustainability” again. This world council seeks to set the standards by which to judge the actions of government — and it only meets once a year, and in between, through their “expert commissions.”
The WFC Councillors meet once a year to decide on a work programme and to form expert commissions and working groups. The organisation was launched in 2007 by Jakob von Uexkull, Founder of the ‘Alternative Nobel Prize’.
I wanted to demonstrate (click “Councillors” link to see) that they are NOT identifying country with the thumbnails + person (including title which would refer to their field of practice, at least somewhat — Judge, Professor, Dr. ….).
However, as I understand the American (meaning, USA) system, the focus is NOT to be on the personality of the leadership (current Presidential election campaign aside for now — I’m talking, constitutionally). When the President is Sworn in by the Chief Justice, you may note that these are representing the Executive and Judicial branches of government, but why isn’t a PERSON, such as the leadership of House of Representatives and the Senate, part of that swearing in process?
Is it not because it is to be the rule of law — is not to be controlled by dictator, tyrants, monarchs, or others, but as in its written form — equally important? THIS style, however, focuses on personalities and expertise.
I clicked on one of the many councillors whose name sounded familiar: “Dr. David Krieger.” He is an attorney and since 1982 — not too surprising — has been President of a tax-exempt organization (foundation) representing his major interest — Nuclear Disarmament. The doctorate is in political science — and the bio blurb while I think it’s probably USA, STILL doesn’t say so, and doesn’t identify from which institution he got his doctorate, or where he practices law.
Wow (see next image and link below) — another case of the “grabs your domain temporarily and reformats according to ITS instructions” web, such as I noticed in “Strong Cities Network”.
Dr. David Krieger is the Founder of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation and has served as its President since 1982. He has lectured throughout the US, Europe and Asia on issues of peace, security, international law and the abolition of nuclear weapons. Dr. Krieger is Chair of the International Network of Engineers and Scientists for Global Responsibility, Chair of the Executive Committee of the Middle Powers Initiative, and a Founder and member of the Global Council of Abolition 2000. He serves as an Advisor to many peace and disarmament organizations throughout the world. He is a recipient of many awards for his work, including Global Green’s Millennium Awardfor International Environmental Leadership. He is the author or editor of more than 20 books, including five poetry volumes, and hundreds of articles on peace and a world free of nuclear weapons. His latest book is The Path to Zero, Dialogues on Nuclear Dangers. Dr. Krieger is an attorney and holds a Ph.D. in Political Science.
TO EDUCATE AND ADVOCATE FOR PEACE AND A WORLD FREE OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND TO EMPOWER PEACE LEADERS FOUNDED IN 1982, THE FOUNDATION IS COMPRISED OF INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS WORLDWIDE WHO REALIZE THE IMPERATIVE FOR PEACE IN THE NUCLEAR AGE THE NUCLEAR AGE PEACE FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT, NON-PARTISAN INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION IT HAS CONSULTATIVE STATUS TO THE UNITED NATIONS ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL AND IS RECOGNIZED BY THE UN AS A PEACE MESSENGER ORGANIZATION
This “organization” has only 12 employees, and is top-heavy as only one person on its board of directors takes a salary. Kind of reminds me of the WPDI.org — big connections, small operation.

The Council of INES consists of its members, however who is “Executive Council” (with bottom of website reading “co. 2013”) is interesting. Co-Chairs are a Climate-Change professor from Hamburg University and a Research Associate from MIT with specialty in South Asia. The Treasurer is from Finland. Only 3 otherm ember sof this committee are listed: One from USA (Dr. David Krieger, citing to NAPF.org and being a Councillor at “World Future Council,” a Professor from Russia, and another member (the only woman) from Germany. CV’s are shown, which should make that a very interesting link.
Odd, several (not just one or two) of the C.V. links on the INES “Executive COuncil” link above, including to one of the two co-chairs — are absent (no C.V.) or no longer current (for the co-chairs).
The German Co-Chair Professor Dr. Jurgen Scheffren (minus a few “umlauts”), both links still active. Here’s from part of the C.V. showing he spent 5 years at University if Illinois-Urbana-Champaign: He is particularly the Climate-Change connection. Being co-chair, obviously this incorporates that theme into anything the council does.
Biography Jürgen Scheffran
Jürgen Scheffran is professor at the Institute for Geography and head of the Research Group Climate Change and Security (CLISEC) at the KlimaCampus Excellence Initiative of Hamburg University. Since Spring 2010 he is member of the INES Executive Committee.
After his physics PhD at Marburg University he worked in the Interdisciplinary Research Group Science, Technology and Security (IANUS) of Technical University of Darmstadt, at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), and as Visiting Professor at the University of Paris (Sorbonne). Before he came to Hamburg in August 2009 he spent five years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he held positions at the Departments of Political Science and Atmospheric Sciences, the Program in Arms Control, Disarmament and International Security (ACDIS) and the Center for Advanced BioEnergy Research (CABER).
His research and teaching interests include: energy security, climate change and sustainability science; arms control, technology assessment and international security; complex systems analysis and mathematical modelling. In these areas he has been teaching more than 30 classes, published hundreds of articles and around 30 books and research reports, including (partly in German) (etc.).
Subrata Ghoshroy is research associate at MIT in the Science, Technology and Global Security Working Group since 2005. There he is leading the Promoting Nuclear Stability in South Asia Project. Before he served as a staff member of the House International Relations Committee and the House Armed Services Committe. He is an Adjunct faculty member at the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Bangalore, India. Subrata worked more than 20 years as an engineer and an engineering-manager in developing high-power and high-energy laser, electron beam, and pulse power technologies. He holds master’s degrees in both electrical engineering and public policy. Curriculum Vitae
The treasurer Claus Montonen, from Finland, has no C.V. link or any link shown, but seems to be a theoretical physicist at the University of Helsinki since 2011.
Claus Montonen reveals disturbing evidence of shortcuts, overspending and commercial infighting during the construction of Olkiluoto 3 – the first of a planned new generation of nuclear power stations in Europe….
During the debates, it struck me that one of the major reasons for the success of the nuclear lobby in a small country like Finland is the narrow base of experts (in this case, nuclear engineers). The small numbers (just a few dozen) of them that we have frequently change employer, from power utility to the government’s Ministry of Employment and Economy, and then to the safety authority STUK, and to the State Technical Research Center VTT, which is the first to be called when the administration needs advice on matters related to technology. The result is that both the watchdogs and those being watched speak with one voice, making it hard for genuinely independent opinions to be heard. (At times STUK has made critical comments, but only after mounting public pressure following disclosures of malpractice.) Ideally, the politicians should form their own opinions based on more general considerations, but in practice they seem to be intimidated by the unanimous opinions of the ’experts’.
Last month I employed a carpenter for repairs on our house. It turned out he had also been working on the Olkiluoto 3 reactor. Based on what he had seen and on what he had been told by his workmates, he said that when the reactor starts up, he intends to be as far away from Olkiluoto as possible.
Claus Montonen is a lecturer in theoretical physics at the University of Helsinki, member of Technology for Life Finland, and treasurer of INES (the International Network for Engineers and Scientists for Global Responsibility). He can be contacted on <claus.montonen@helsinki.fi>
Sounds familiar for sure!
I chose to show this 2002 letter (top margin cut off, html link is in document name; footer information lists Montonen and Krieger).
Finally, I see Dr. David Krieger’s C.V. at the INES foundation, which may explain why his academic background isn’t listed under World Councillor over at Future Council.
The top half of the CV (several paragraphs) are about writings (lots of them) and awards (lots of them). The bottom half, shown here, names more organizations he’s been on the board of (including at least one in California) and — eventually– where he got his PhD and JD from, not to mention undergraduate:
Occidental College (=where?)
University of Hawaii (M.A. and PhD)
Santa Barbara School of Law (J.D.) — and he’s served (20 years?) as a pro tem judge in Santa Barbara Superior Court too, I see:
Here it is:
…He serves on the Advisory Council of Free the Children International (Toronto), Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation (London), Right Livelihood Foundation (Sweden), the International Council of the Institute on the Holocaust and Genocide (Israel), the International Institute for Peace (Vienna), Mahatma Gandhi Center for Global Nonviolence (Virginia), Mayors for Peace (Hiroshima), the Peace Resources Cooperative (Yokohama), the Transnational Foundation for Peace and Future Research (Sweden), the Lawyers Committee on Nuclear Policy (New York) the Foundation for Conscious Evolution (Santa Barbara), and Peace Media (peacejournalism.com). He is a member of the Committee of 100 for Tibet.
I bolded the only two listed above which seem to be located in the USA, and show the Santa Barbara one below.
Dr. Krieger served as Panel Chair of the Citizens’ Hearing on the Legality of U.S. Actions in Iraq, held in Tacoma, Washington in 2007, and as a member of the Jury of Conscience of the World Tribunal on Iraq, held in Istanbul in 2005.
In his early career he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaii and San Francisco State University. He worked at the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions on issues of international law, ocean governance, nuclear terrorism and disarmament; and at the Foundation for Reshaping the International Order (RIO Foundation) in the Netherlands on the effects of dual-purpose technologies on disarmament, development and the environment.
He is a graduate of Occidental College, and holds MA and Ph.D. degrees in political science from the University of Hawaii as well as a J.D. from the Santa Barbara College of Law. Dr. Krieger served for 20 years as a judge pro tem for the Santa Barbara Superior Court.
He is married and has three children. His interests include tennis, hiking and poetry.
“Foundation for Conscious Evolution has 2 employees, and a PO Box 4698 in Santa Barbara. Founding year left blank in most recent tax return, the two employees seem to be Barbara Marx Hubbard, and “Lucky Sweeney”

Regarding those Tax Returns, BRIEFLY, for NUCLEAR AGE PEACE FOUNDATION , page 1 immediately shows a big gap between its “Gross Receipts” ($7.9M, header information) and its actual (Part I, Summary) Total Program Revenues (contributions, earnings, the total), which is only $1.5M. Usually — and in this case too — a large gap like that means some assets or securities were sold, and the difference is the cost. So, they sold $6.9M of securities for a profit of around $600K only.
The organization is small — 18 board of directors, and several officers — but it has only ONE officer working FT (50hours/week) or paid anything, and that’s the President, Daniel Krieger — who is paid $185K (with benefits). NO other officer works full-time or even part-time, or volunteers more than 2 hrs/week. There is no “Executive Director.” Basically, this nonprofit is his working platform, with general operating revenues drawn, it says, from about 5% of the endowment’s earnings.
There are only 12 employees, and no independent subcontractors. $11K grants went to Sweden and Germany, and $10K grant went to a “fellowship” of 1 individual which, appears to be Daniel Ellsburg as “Senior Fellow” to the organization.
From their website, which at least does post the EIN# (if no financials and apparently no obvious mailing address showing location), an April 27, 2016 one-page letter from the D. Krieger, partial excerpt quoted only. I also note on the website footer testimonials from His Holiness the Dali Lama, and Daniel Ellsburg:
An advocate of renewable energy sources and of eliminating nuclear power. Shifting to renewable energy sources is necessary to dramatically reduce polluting the planet and to halt climate change. Nuclear power must be eliminated due to its proven potential for the proliferation of nuclear weapons, its attractiveness to terrorists seeking to obtain and disburse radioactive materials, and for other reasons, including its potential for accidents and the lack of a solution to long-term radioactive waste storage.
A source of inspiration to the next generation that a better world is possible. The Foundation empowers young people through contests, internships and peace leadership trainings, seeking to raise their level of awareness and engagement in issues of peace, nuclear disarmament and global security.
A pioneer in Peace Leadership and Peace Literacy training. The Foundation is pioneering peace leadership and peace literacy trainings and workshops for people throughout the country. The program is led by Paul K. Chappell, a West Point graduate and author of five books on ending war and waging peace….
The street address in Santa Barbara to which this nonprofit is registered, per Redfin, shows as a property sold for under $500K in 1990 and which has more than tripled in value since, but is only paying $23 in taxes (1622 Anacapa Street), with the organization depreciating land, buildings and equipment (DNK if this home, but possibly). If this is Dr. Krieger’s home, then good work — he’s managed to all but avoid property taxes while on a salary of close to $200K/year, maintained mostly by the endowment funds. Details show that the organization’s revenues were highest in 2008 at $4M+, declined since (except the last year shown, when they were again above $1M), while the assets remained fairly regular at $4M.
1622 Anacapa St is a house in Santa Barbara, CA 93101. This 2,009 square foot house sits on a 8,276 square foot lot and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This property was built in 1935 and last sold for $448,500. Based on Redfin’s Santa Barbara data, we estimate the home’s value is now $1,576,656, which is 251.5% more than when it was last sold
A Schedule L (“interested persons”) notes that one of the directors is also their investment broker, and paid by that broker. Pardon me, but I’m burnt out for this post anyhow, on posting more images and explanations. Anyone can look at a tax return and look up charitable details, read them, and start to make some sense of them.
Back to that “Future Award” to the DAIP-based policy….
“This is a great honor,” said Rep. Michael Paymar. “We never imagined the global impact that the Duluth Model would have, but more importantly how many lives would be saved.”
That’s interesting, because people (women and children, AND at times men) are still getting killed out here. Next three (or so) paragraphs = my sarcastic commentary on reading this claim again:
And in Minnesota, around this time, a mother of five Sandra Grazzini-Rucki, was thrown out of her home, made instantly without assets, and in this condition, forced into more litigation against an ex-abuser, and the father of those children. Later, as we know (see this blog 2016 and more at Red Herring Alert, under that tag — before that blog was shut down through intimidation by THIS PARTICULAR FATHER’S hired LAW FIRM (as I recall, but double-check), CarverCounty Corruption by Leah Dannewitz. News is also being updated, I believe at justiceforgrazzinirucki.com or similar title (DNR exact domain name). Meanwhile, the high-profile Holly Collins case, many years ago, had Holly fleeing the country with her children.
Incidentally, in the Grazzini-Rucki family, BOTH sides, there had been trusts and wealth for the courts to pursue. So “why not” turn that case into a hell-hole, in the home state, Minnesota, of a well-known “raising awareness of domestic abuse” organization such as DAIP (with its UN ties), while the family courts get to do the usual “abuse? What abuse? We just want to them to focus on co-parenting..and whoever disagrees, needs a psychological (custody) evaluation, for which we have JUST the cronies excuse me, colleagues, excuse me — court-appointed &/or court-connected mental health professionals** for the job….
(**Often, AFCC members, as has been identified in that case already, and other high-profile ones where custody of the children was switched, somewhere after separation, to the ex-batterer or molester father” — which I would like to point out ,I do NOT believe is the AVERAGE father or man in this country. I don’t think most fathers engage in this behavior. But we do know that sometimes they do — and sometimes includes both the “rich and powerful / entitled” and the poor and “I may not have respect in the competitive world of men, but I’m damn sure going to get it from my woman!!” — because, as these same organizations say, it’s not restricted by socioeconomic class.)
No wonder these nonprofit organizations (a) need government grants for continuation; (b) need to develop international connections (word is gradually getting out locally about their behavior, no thanks to the “Coordinated Community Response” as expressed in the “Statewide Coalitions Against Domestic Violence” which are also sustained (somewhat) by the HHS payroll, and below them, if it indeed trickles down, some actual battered women’s shelters. etc.
The “Duluth Model” won the Gold Award for prioritizing the safety and autonomy of survivors while holding perpetrators accountable through community-wide coordinated response, including a unique partnership between non-profit and government agencies. This approach to tackling violence against women has inspired violence protection law implementation and the creation of batterer intervention programs in the United States and around the world, including in countries such as Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, Romania, and Australia.
“What I love about this award is that it celebrates our policy and model to end violence against women. By giving the recognition to the policy we hope that it will be replicated worldwide,” said DAIP executive director (also executive director of Advocates for Family Peace (AFFP)), Melissa Scaia. “While DAIP continues to lead this work it couldn’t happen without the commitment of local leaders and their staff.”
On November 25, 2014, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the World Future Council and its partners, UN Women and the IPU, will host an interactive panel discussion on the preconditions of successful policy-making and implementation at UN Headquarters in New York. Policy-makers from Austria, Burkina Faso, the Council of Europe, and Minnesota, including Melissa Scaia, Executive Director of DAIP (and AFFP) and Rep. Michael Paymar, will participate.
WRITTEN EARLY JULY, 2016:
I’m posting part of what I found some years ago, and which came up in a current context of regionalization and shadow government (government/business (“public/private”) power alliances in which citizens, literally, have NO legal rights and are not members) and just how tricky and hidden these can be.
“Agenda 21″/ABAG Complaints in Northern California
I looked at this when exploring the website earlier (at recommendation of a friend), two entities are mentioned as suing “ABAG” which I end up discussing (an offshoot of discussing the San Francisco Foundation, which I’ll explain on that post, why the topic came up (it was in relationship to size of assets — a local N. California City is again possibly being pushed — a second time — into bankruptcy, and by CalPERS rule changes. An accounting rule change cut its “net assets” by half, which seems more than deliberate — why change the rules at this time when the city was just coming out of a previous bankruptcy after the 2008 recession? In that context, I went looking to see if the community foundation’s net assets were comparable to a major city’s in the same area. Turns out they were more than double — $1 BILLION, where as the city, whose assets had been approaching ½ Billion Dollars, got halved in Year 2014 to about ¼ billion (i.e., ca. $250M — and that’s for a CITY).
There’s a common term on the media “Agenda 21” regarding regionalization and planning agencies. I’m aware of it, but I don’t like the branding when my point is that we should be paying attention and looking at the financials and the forms of government authorities forming alliances with each other, and with the private sector in such a way that citizens have NO rights under those agreements.
I’m not sure how much what I’m saying does, or does not, line up with protests of “Agenda 21,” and will leave any comparisons to someone else. I’m not on mailing lists or following the topic regularly. You don’t need to have been alerted by groups protesting this Agenda to see it in operation.
Sample write-ups, basic Google search:
Agenda 21 is a non-binding, voluntarily implemented action plan of the United Nations with regard to sustainable development. It is a product of the Earth Summit (UN Conference on Environment and Development) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992.
Here’s a person I was encouraged to contact, and website I did explore, in depth, one or two years earlier — Rosa Koire. There’s an associated book, ‘Behind the Green Mask.” I’m including here because I DO have one comment on her opening paragraph as to use of the words “inventory” (as in “inventory-ing” everything):
SOUNDS LIKE SCIENCE FICTION…OR SOME CONSPIRACY THEORY…BUT IT ISN’T. UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is the action plan implemented worldwide to inventory and control all land, all water, all minerals, all plants, all animals, all construction, all means of production, all energy, all education, all information, and all human beings in the world.** INVENTORY AND CONTROL.—-Rosa Koire
Have you wondered where these terms ‘sustainability’ and ‘smart growth’ and ‘high density urban mixed use development’ came from? Doesn’t it seem like about 10 years ago you’d never heard of them and now everything seems to include these concepts? Is that just a coincidence? That every town and county and state and nation in the world would be changing their land use/planning codes and government policies to align themselves with…what?
** I don’t disagree that this is “the action plan” and have been seeing multiple forms of it, as I look at grantors, grant purposes, and grantees across the nation, from my initial and still primary concern about the HMRF funds being pushed through the (rigged) family courts, which then refer people to forced-consumption of classes and even professions run if not conceived of by those helping set up the family courts in the first place. I noticed that where there’s Parent Education there’s also frequently “Child Abuse Prevention” roughly translating to running more curricula — and instituting home visitation for everyone.
Separately, sort of, there is a statewide push for Pre-K, universal education for all (“forGET” the average person NOT participating in a compulsory-education program from as early as possible) and pushing for registration of “putative fathers” let alone hospital outreach. I couldn’t put into ONE paragraph the collective, coordinated push to centralize control of geographies, that is, COMMUNITIES, starting with major, metropolitan cities, especially port cities or those with access to major waterways (i.e., Chicago) . … and the public/private alliances in these cities having pre-set favorited programming seeking to unify the various federal agency purposes (Health, Education, WELFARE, Housing, Labor, Justice when it comes to Prisoner Re-entry) in “application” for “what (they say) works.”
In order to continue persuading and placating the communities that this is all for their own good, all’s well, and that these are actually Philanthropic innovations, and LOCAL representation was involved in choosing them …. [see references to local Community Foundations, which, as I have been showing, are moving the money overseas anyhow — how “local” is that?] major amounts of Public Relations is necessary and is being employed.
Anyhow — see that word “Inventory?” On my sidebar, scroll down to a Vital Link on Minnesota and its “HHS/ACF” grants actually going to an entity called “ISIS” — and there was one real name, one fake name found in the TAGGS.hhs.gov database, with the monster share going to the fake organization name (!!) under HHS/ACF programming…
Considering its policies are woven into all the General Plans of the cities and counties, it’s important for people to know where these policies are coming from. While many people support the United Nations for its ‘peacemaking’ efforts, hardly anyone knows that they have very specific land use policies that they would like to see implemented in every city, county, state and nation. The specific plan is called United Nations Agenda 21 Sustainable Development, which has its basis in Communitarianism. By now, most Americans have heard of sustainable development but are largely unaware of Agenda 21.
In a nutshell, the plan calls for governments to take control of all land use and not leave any of the decision making in the hands of private property owners. It is assumed that people are not good stewards of their land and the government will do a better job if they are in control. Individual rights in general are to give way to the needs of communities as determined by the governing body. Moreover, people should be rounded up off the land and packed into human settlements, or islands of human habitation, close to employment centers and transportation. Another program, called the Wildlands Project spells out how most of the land is to be set aside for non-humans.
U.N. Agenda 21 cites the affluence of Americans as being a major problem which needs to be corrected. It calls for lowering the standard of living for Americans so that the people in poorer countries will have more, a redistribution of wealth. Although people around the world aspire to achieve the levels of prosperity we have in our country, and will risk their lives to get here, Americans are cast in a very negative light and need to be taken down to a condition closer to average in the world. Only then, they say, will there be social justice which is a cornerstone of the U.N. Agenda 21 plan
Can’t say I disagree with any of that, or even any individual sentence of that. I think she’s telling the truth. Does seem to be in operation, accelerating within my own time here in this Bay Area (I had and raised children who are now young adults, if that’s an indicator for about how long I’ve been living here….).
However, I differ in what to do about it, and I particularly believe that becoming aware not just of the regional planning areas and how citizens do NOT have rights under them — to read it in print does tend to drive it home! — people should become aware of how wealth is stockpiled FROM the people to keep the pressure on them, and that many programs we believe, or are led to believe, are beneficial ESPECIALLY in the HHS and family values realm, are in fact fluid systems that facilitate money-laundering to keep up the appearances of service “throughout the land.”
There are a lot of dirty tactics in play, and it’s those tactics which we have a basis for and should object to, where possible. All objections have to have some basis in existing rights or relationships of consent or contract; the most direct complaint which might stand water has to be to the extent that taxes continue to be collected when and where they are not needed, which is simply a form of oppression, and a violation of basic concepts of government which most THINK they are still under.
Again, to see it in detail, repeatedly, I believe is more convincing than hearing others talk about it, or even experiencing the symptoms that “SOMETHING just ain’t RIGHT!” in the courts, alone. Or, in the law enforcement sector, alone. Or, in any sector alone.
What is the unifying principle around which any discussion could be held, if not taxation // tax-exemption? Throughout, this is in good part a question of math and logic (which numbers, cooked or not, re-labeled or not, still is). Also, the cooking of books (or tax returns), or switching labels around at will has to be shown and discussed at some point.
That’s why you find me posting on organizations such as “Georgia Center for Opportunity” formerly Georgia Education and Family Research Council” (or similar title), dba “Georgia Family Council” — and they can’t fill out a tax return right, have conflicts of interest, and if I remember my own post right either this one, or “More Than Conquerors, Inc.” (also in Georgia) put in a wrong tax number, wasn’t current, and one of them, or a related one, was operating for many years under the auspices of a multi-state hospital within Georgia. No, I do NOT have a photographic or completely reliable memory on EVERY post I’ve written. I have a pretty good general recall, including of where to go to check the facts. In this case, re-read the posts on Georgia if you’re curious — my point is, IN this nonprofit sector, time and again, organizations dependent on fatherhood and/or abstinence (and other) grants simply are not evidencing the ABILITY to read the IRS Form right and complete it telling a + from a – on Page 2, when in reference to grants.
Others, who I’m sure do have the literacy (I’m going to assume that the big one in New Haven, home of Yale University, is not an illiterate community foundation hiring illiterate employees) appear to just not give a damn — in simply not providing the public, VOLUNTARILY, with lists of who is getting those grants, on Schedule I.
To assume that any philanthropy, because it’s famous, because it’s large, because it’s been around a very long time, is somehow credible AND ethical, would be a mistake. That is simply not necessarily true!
Again, another feature of “grown-ups” is making sound decisions about who they do business with.
By collecting such wealth and redistributing it (that which isn’t stockpiled, as discussed above, and more, in other posts), that decision to do business or NOT do business with such entities as are exploiting the relationship has been taken away from most adults in the USA via the income tax, established by Amendment to the Constitution in 1913.
It’s collected up front, first, universally, nationwide and even if people live outside the US and earn money there, they are supposed to pay taxes to “the homeland” – – – something other developed countries, I’m told, don’t do. Then it is redistributed through what seems like continually expanding set of federal agencies and programs under those agencies, HHS being one of the largest, if not the largest.
What about the choice where people want to live, and I do mean, in which country if the current one cannot protect, or does not respect, civil rights, human rights, or even its own legal rights and has a government which can be trusted.
When it comes to where those taxes are appropriated each year by Congress, and distributed — whether HMRF funding or others, under HHS, under USDOJ, under USDOL or USDOE (the latter two, less of my focus on this blog), or through the “CNCS” (Corporation for National and Community Service” — see June 8, 2016 post, top section) — we should keep something of a general awareness on the basic programming and procedures, and be curious enough to explore things in detail — consistently.
I will explain this as quickly as possible, after quoting the appeal for funds for this lawsuit, which names the groups involved; again, toning down the print size and boldness from the original page. Notice that two individuals (Rosa Koire and Michael Shaw) have filed and appealed against a lawsuit against ABAG. Each person’s name is associated with two links: Rosa’s with the Post Sustainability Institute (which I learned seems to be a mirror of one promoting Agenda 21) and “Democrats Against U.N. Agenda 21” which is basically — as I recall — herself as a nonprofit selling her book “The Green Mask,” with Ms. Koire also being a lawyer; and Mr. Shaw with “Freedom Advocates.ORG” and GlobalizationofCalifornia.COM” (which by website suffix would appear to be maybe one for-profit, one not-for profit, until further lookups show more facts; neither is identified as an organization until shown to be an organization by SOS, IRS, or other registration showing the entity exists under this name, or owns the phrase on the website as a d/b/a.. (Doing Business As)…
It’s on the “FreedomAdvocates.org” that the cause shows threadbare as to credibility. But first, read the appeal:
Appeal in One Bay Area Lawsuit Filed!
Rosa Koire of The Post Sustainability Institute and Democrats Against U.N. Agenda 21 and Michael Shaw of FreedomAdvocates.organd GlobalizationofCalifornia.com (the “Plaintiffs and Appellants”) filed the Opening Brief in the Appeal in their state court case against the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG). The lawsuit seeks the negation of ABAG’s One Bay Area(OBA) $300 billion dollar plan to remake the San Francisco Bay Area. The One Bay Area/Plan Bay Area program is the prototype Agenda 21 restructure of local government to change how Americans are expected to live. For information on ABAG and the OBA Plan, see a List of Resources here. The necessary funds were raised thanks to many participants who contributed or pledged donations. Those contributions, plus last minute funds from an anonymous major contributor have enabled this litigation to continue. Well done all! As the battle continues, be forewarned that additional funds will be necessary, as the case will need to proceed beyond the California Appellate Court. Certainly the case will be presented to the State and/or Federal Supreme Court by the losing party, and we must be ready! For information on methods for contributing funds toward the lawsuit, clickhere. You can make a donation now, or pledge to contribute small or large amounts in the future.
Last time around, I looked up “FreedomAdvocates.org” (fine print, bottom of page, the usual place!) and found that it has a fiscal agent foundation.
Support Freedom Advocates
You can make a tax deductible contribution to Freedom Advocates through our fiscal sponsor, the Edward Charles Foundation. To make a donation online, click the button below. You can also make a tax deductible contribution by mail. Make checks out to ‘Freedom Advocates’ and send to: Freedom Advocates, P.O. Box 3330, Freedom, CA 95019. Thank you!
Being me, I then went and looked up that fiscal agent foundation and found them absolutely supporting “Agenda 21” regionalism-type activities, and more than.
A Local Wiki has blanks for the EIN# for this organization, not filled in.
A Form 990 search shows that Michael Shaw was on a “Freedom Advocates” organization whose last tax return shown is about five years ago, and with this purpose. I also see “Freedom Advocates” nonprofits in Minnesota and another state or two, which may or may not be related in leadership or goals:

FTB = Franchise Tax Board. The organization somehow didn’t dot its “i’s” and cross its “t’s” such that the FTB said, “you’re out!!” I wonder what the IRS has said, to date:
Exempt Organization Select Check (I’ll use that EIN#). The link, as you’ll see, has three buttons, and I typically check all three. Button 1, IS eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions — NO RESULTS.
Button (search) #2 is “Was Automatically Revoked” in which we find that this same EIN# associated with a slightly different organization name (at the same address) was revoked in 2012, which was announced in 2013. It has not been re-instated, either.
Revocation Posting Date (date on which IRS posted notice of automatic revocation on IRS.gov):
11-Feb-2013
*** in other words, “Freedom Advocates” not shown as a “dba” of this business entity.
At the California SOS label, I see no “Freedom 21 Santa Cruz” organization at all (possibly because “Freedom Advocates” while it didn’t bother to keep filing tax returns (and/or failed to raise any significant revenues for its lawsuit or otherwise), may have undergone a namechange. Old Organization names (unless the result of a merger) do not show on this database.
I went to the California Charitable Registry Search (Verification) page (and “Verified” that “Freedom Advocates” (I searched that name) did not register:
A second search by the EIN# which the IRS calls one thing, and the filers in 2006 & 2008 called another, above — showed no results at all. So presumably “Freedom Agenda 21” didn’t register in California, either, although at one point they received “Almost” $50K…
CONTENT of LAST KNOWN TAX “FREEDOM ADVOCATES” RETURN:
The tax return of “Freedom Advocates” labeled Year 2008 (Form 990-EZ) shows three officers at an address “32 Seascape Village, Aptos California,” — Lisa Smith, Brent Duncan, and Michael Shaw, all showing the same address. The tax preparers were “Deich Smith & Trundle CPAs” at 30 Seascape Village Suite D in Aptos.
The organization shows it received almost $20K in 2006, nothing in 2007, and almost $50K in 2008 (see “Schedule A”).
(interjection — re: their stated current fiscal agent)…
Its current fiscal agent (per their website) “Edward Charles Foundation” was incorporated in 2009, per Secretary of State registration:

How is this for an odd full name of any organization (not that the IRS reflects that name on its registration per the “Exempt Organizations Select Check”) notice rapid increase in assets, although it’s still under $1M Total (Gross) Assets:
More Interjection regarding this Strange, and Strangely-behaving (incl. on its Form 990s) Edward Charles Foundation
This truly ODD foundation, on its initial return (bottom row, below) showed they received $245K contributions, $20K “Fiscal Sponsorship” = about $265K. (Program Service Revenues, Line 9 Part I, but see also Part VIII, Line 2), and this is its Page 2 for Year 1)… They then spent most (about $168K) of it, leaving some. Odd description for first year of such an elaborately named foundation. Section “O” (supplemental information) below this description is yet stranger.
Its two officers are Kent E. Seton (it says, partner in a law firm, Seton and Associates) and Kevin Grigorenko, none paid so far…

At no point does it list anything as “Grants” (not on Page 1, Part I, or on Part IX, “Expenses” under Line 1, “Grants”) however, it counts as “expenses” what it distributes to the organizations it’s fiscal sponsor for, which are listed in Schedule O (Freedom Advocates not one of them):

A Gran Foundation seems to be a primary project.
I looked at the SECOND year of operation, contributions were shown as over $1M, of which they granted out about half ($475K and counted off about the other half ($562K) in “Other expenses.” The spectrum of organizations on Page 2 (Primary Accomplishments) has changed considerably, and is why I probably said years ago, THIS GROUP is SPONSORING AGENDA 21 TYPE ACTIVITIES:

***This same year, this same organization (despite “Grants” line being marked “$0”) claims on Schedule O — towards the bottom (and not on Schedule I where it would seem to belong, which lists “grants”) having distributed $583K towards this organization by way of fiscal sponsorship, making it not only primary project, but also largest grantee (or recipient of funds distributed) for Edward Charles Foundation. I’ve not located an EIN# for this foundation, but actor Forest Whitaker is called its co-founder, and it’s about as “one-world/global” as it gets.
WHY then, would “Freedom Advocates” in filing a lawsuit against UN Agenda 21/ABAG (regional planning for SF Bay Area) — use Edward Charles as its fiscal sponsor? Nothing about that choice smells anything close to right..
Its Schedule I list of “Grants” for this year includes one big, and several little ones only (and does not total $475K). Then, it has a separate list of disbursements (for its “fiscal agent” projects) — lots of them — under Schedule O. Why this wouldn’t be listed in Schedule I, I don’t know….. (I’ll list those below also — Freedom Advocates or Freedom Agenda 21 Santa Cruz not on either list).
(Rather than upload a hard-to read image, I did a quick “table” representing Schedule I. Order of columns is reversed for easier reading).

That was in response to Program Service Accomplishments, Line “4d.”
However, later down in Schedule O, explaining Part IX (Expenses) — which should correspond to the information on Part III) it then talks about disbursing for organizations it’s fiscal agent to — several Tax Return Pages further down. Here’s that list (not provided in table form for easy totaling):
FORM 990, PART IX, LINE 25 SPONSORSHIP DISBURSEMENTS

-YELLOW RIBBON UNITED, $47,265
Conveniently not referencing the Peace Earth Foundation EIN# although they got ½ million. Question: WHY would any organization receiving as much as $583M need a fiscal sponsor?
THIS IS PARALLEL “FISCAL SPONSOR” DISTRIBUTIONS LIST FROM EDWARD CHARLES FOUNDATION FOR ITS TAX RETURN (TOP ROW ABOVE), FISCAL YEAR 2013, WHICH WENT 7/1/2013 – 6/30/2014. NOTICE: They credit $90,000 to “Freedom Advocates.” While the State of California Sec. of State Business Entity Search database declines to tell users WHEN any organization it lists as “Suspended” was “Suspended” — we do see the IRS (Federal tax filing) shows that “FREEDOM AGENDA 21 SANTA CRUZ” (using same EIN# under which Freedom Advocates filed in 2007 and 2008 and at the same street address in Aptos, CA) was status “Revoked” as of May 2012.
So there is no corresponding record for the organization to which Eric Charles Foundation allegedly distributed $90,000 for that timeframe. I also still haven’t found “PeaceEarth Foundation” however, the former name of the Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative (see below) also a recipient, was “The International Institute for Peace Foundation” and showing on ITS tax return, the website “PeaceEarth.org.”
Moreover, I also later clicked on Whitaker Initiative founding documents (under the former name) and saw on their IRS Form 1023 (application for exempt status) that the original Incorporator for this entity in California was in fact Kent E. Seton, also registered agent for Edward Charles. Mr. Seton’s signature was dated 12/2011 (DNR exact day) and the application for tax-exempt status was the following May, 5/2012.
So here are Edward Charles Foundation’s “Fiscal Agent” distributions for Fiscal Year 2013:

(IT took a review of these Form 990s to remember WHICH “global / NWO” organization Edward Charles was involved with. Notice, this is the largest grants out of all it fiscally sponsor’s — and the complete name appears to be “Forest Whitaker’s PeaceEarth Foundation” A Care2.org petition for this foundation (now closed, it got 88 signatures):
Forest Whitaker is a distinguished artist and humanist. He is the founder of PeaceEarth Foundation, co-founder and chair of the International Institute for Peace and the UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Peace and Reconciliation.
Let us support this cause.
Forest Whitaker, Oscar-winning actor, humanist and Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), announced today the PeaceEarth Foundation will launch the Youth Peacemaker Network in South Sudan in cooperation with UNESCO Juba, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport of South Sudan, Zain and Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC).
The Youth Peacemaker Network will nurture a new generation of leaders committed to reconciliation and conflict prevention. Participating youth from South Sudan’s 10 States will be trained by local and international experts in conflict resolution, leadership, peace and community building as well as mediation skills. These youth will forge peaceful, non-violent relationships with their peers as they work together with their communities, engage with youth nation-wide, receive mentoring and training in business skills to promote attractive learning and skills-based opportunities.
“Reconciliation is a slow process, and it often takes as much time to get out of a conflict as it took to get in one,” said Forest Whitaker. “That’s why it is so important to work with youth to promote the significance of education, personal empowerment and leadership to build peaceful conflict resolution skills and techniques.”
With 72 percent of the South Sudanese population under the age of 30, a peaceful future for the country is in the hands of the young. “Peace is an enabling factor for the development and prosperity of South Sudan and to the building of a national identity, said Mr. Salah Khaled, UNESCO Juba’s Head of Office. “It is essential to empower young people and train them with the skills they need to be tomorrow’s leaders.”
From their website (of the Whitaker Development Institute, link in the table above) — in case you still need this spelled out: “Our Mission” Under “About Us”)
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to help societies impacted by destructive conflicts transform into safer and more prosperous communities. We work to empower and inspire youth, women, and global citizens to promote peace across the planet. We conduct and sustain our peace initiatives through conflict resolution education programs and methodologies, grassroots projects, and state of the art 21st century communication tools and content. Trainings provided by WPDI rest on a unique mix of peace-building, conflict resolution, mediation, life skills, vocational training, and ICT skills
Interesting how closely that resembles the family court lingo and philosophy….Must be “coincidence”…
Whitaker is the founder and CEO of WPDI, co-founder and chair of the International Institute for Peace, UNESCO Special Envoy for Peace and Reconciliation, and a member of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Advocacy Group. Whitaker is dedicated to cultivating youths’ artistic talents. As a member of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, he is working closely with elementary school students to demonstrate the limitless power of the arts to express their voices and creative energies.
In addition to his social activism, Whitaker is one of Hollywood’s most accomplished and versatile figures. Through his production companies, Significant Productions and JuntoBox Films, he aims to support young, talented filmmakers. He believes that film can enlighten people across the globe and can start meaningful dialogues about important subjects. He has produced several award-winning documentaries that touch on a wide range of social issues. He has also received many distinctions for his acting, including the 2007 Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Ugandan dictator Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland, a performance for which he also received a BAFTA Award, SAG Award, and Golden Globe. In addition, Whitaker received the Best Actor Award for Bird at the 1988 Cannes Film Festival.
And in case you still don’t get that Edward Charles FOundation is helping with UN Sustainable Development (Agenda 21) goals —
Whitaker’s artistic and humanitarian contributions have been widely recognized at home and abroad. In 2007, he received the Cinema for Peace Award for his ongoing advocacy for child soldiers and his work with inner-city youth. He was awarded the Humanitas Prize in 2001. In 2008, he was a member of Barack Obama’s Urban Policy Committee.
Whitaker currently serves as a senior research scholar at Rutgers University and a visiting professor at Ringling College of Art and Design. In 2013, Boston University’s Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center appointed Whitaker a Martin Luther King, Jr. Fellow. That same year, he was made a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government in recognition of his work serving those affected by conflicts and violence. Over the past few years, he has also received awards honoring his humanitarian work from the Los Angeles Press Club, the Broadcast Film Critics Association, the NAACP, Refugees International, the MLK Health Foundation, and more.
Whitaker’s commitment to peace and social justice has led him to work in close collaboration with UNESCO. In 2011, Whitaker was designated a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Peace and Reconciliation. In this role, he works toward global peace and community building through non-violence education, research, and training. In 2012, in recognition of his contributions to the values embodied by the UN, Whitaker received the United Nations Correspondents Association’s Advocate of the Year Award. In 2014, he started collaborating with the Office of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict as an Advocate for Children Affected by War, a topic on which he was invited to speak before the UN Security Council in September of that year. Also in 2014, in line with this new partnership and following his increased work in conflict-impacted regions, he was designated a UNESCO Special Envoy for Peace and Reconciliation. In 2016, he was appointed to the Sustainable Development Goals Advocacy Group by the UN Secretary-General.
Look at some of the listed partners. I see among them “Starkey Foundation” — as in Ringo Starr (formerly Richard Starkey). On TV not long ago, there was a procession of Clinton Global Initiative awardees (or similar high-profile event). I’d noticed that Starkey Foundation was presenting. I showed three partners out of the list. The top one was AIR FRANCE (recently – 2004 – merged with a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines)
Svenska PostkodStiftelsen
The Swedish Postcode Foundation’s vision is to contribute to a better world for people, animals and nature. It’s project support is distributed towards two main thematic areas: people’s living conditions and the environment. The projects contribute to poverty reduction, peace building, human rights, climate, conservation or sustainable energy. The Swedish Postcode Foundation takes part in the annual distribution of lottery surplus from the Swedish Postcode Lottery, that in its place is part of the United Postcode Lotteries which, to date, is the world’s third-largest private donor to charitable causes.
Starkey Hearing Foundation
The Starkey Hearing Foundation uses hearing as a vehicle to reflect caring and improve the lives of individuals, families and communities around the world, by helping them reach their full potential. Hearing loss affects one in 10 Americans, and 63 million children worldwide, yet many do not have access to the hearing devices that can help them. The Starkey Hearing Foundation fits and gives more than 100,000 hearing aids annually, and as a member of President Clinton’s Global Initiative, it has pledged to fit one million hearing aids this decade. In addition to giving the gift of hearing through worldwide hearing missions, the Starkey Hearing Foundation promotes hearing health awareness and education through the Listen Carefully initiative and provides hearing instruments to low-income Americans through the Hear Now program.

If there’s going to be a New World Order comin’ round the mountain when she comes…. I suppose the philosophy is, who gives a damn if within the United States, one of the wealthier countries around we think needs to be taken down a notch, the wage-earners support the tax-exempt organizations which themselves don’t bother to file, report their EIN#s, or (as to many) comply with state (as in NY, Florida, California, Ohio, etc.) business registration laws….After all, “what the heck?” seems to be the attitude.
Out of many of the Hollywood Actors around, Mr. Whitaker has more than earned his reputation; he’s an excellent and as it says, versatile actor, no matter what film it’s in. Still, the film industry and its WEALTHY elite do not think, act, or talk like the rest of us who may be much more “locally” grounded, need to retain our work, and as citizens of the United States of America, not appreciate having our efforts and energies wasted while out-of-control redistribution and recirculation of the wealthy trafficks through various registered and unregistered entities ALL of who are privileged in that they are not required, having signed up (some, not all) to use their business names as associated with a tax-exempt status.

This was evidently planned far back (at least as far back as 1913) and here we are, 103 years later, with the consequences — elected leadership signing over rights to unelected organizations:
The “Freedom Advocates” organization’s only description of activities and related expenses shows “Grants $62,538” however page 1 shows that this total is comprised of a modest salary, a modest “professional fee” and $4K printing and publishing, $34K “Other expenses” — and not ‘Grants.” However filing only a Form 990EZ, no requirement to label any grants. In other words, this is one minuscule organization who despite having close proximity or board overlap with CPAs, didn’t complete the Form 990-EZ correctly, it would appear (unless the instructions for “Grants” on page 2 means “& salaries & overheads & Other expenses” which sort of defeats the purpose of having a category “Grants.” The column to the right of this single entry under “what we did” where “Expenses” is supposed to go — is blank.
Describe what was achieved in carrying out the organization ‘s exempt purposes In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, or other relevant information for each program title
Expenses (Required for 501(c)(3) and (4) organizations and 4947 (a)(1) trusts, optional for others
[Line] 28. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO TRAVEL TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE FREEDOMS ASSURED BY THE U S CONSTITUTION THROUGH PUBLIC SPEAKING FORUMS, SCHOOLS, RADIO, PRINTING AND DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATIONAL MATERIAL ABOUT THE BILL OF RIGHTS AND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (Grants $ 62 ,538)
By Michael Shaw, 8/4/2009 – Why do we use the term unalienable instead of inalienable? Inalienable rights are subject to changes in the law such as when property rights are given a back seat to emerging environmental law or free speech rights give way to political correctness. Whereas under the original doctrine of unalienable rights, these rights cannot be abridged.
Good article to read if you are new or have friends that are new to Sustainable Development!
By Daniel Beckett, 6/15/2004 – In this straightforward expose of Agenda 21 — the blueprint to advance Sustainable Development — Beckett examines the notion of “sustainability.” His conclusion: The American people need to be better informed so they understand that Sustainable Development is a pseudonym for centralized control over human life.
By Heather Gass, 6/13/2013 – Over the past few years, I and many others in the San Francisco Bay Area have been fighting against a plan that seeks to socially re-engineer our lives: the One Bay Area Plan. Over the next 25 to 30 years it will transform the lives of over 9 million people in 9 counties by creating high density stack-and-pack housing next to mass transit, all in the name of saving the planet by reducing GHGs (Green House Gases). Never mind that global warming has already been debunked by thousands of scientists not on the UN’s payroll. The sky is not falling, but our rights arebeing systematically eroded.
Did you know that some of your local elected representatives are enabling a shadow government to evolve? These people promote the reinvention of government through their support of, and appointments to, “regional” boards that act like soviet councils. These councils are funded to implement Agenda 21. Federal tax dollars fuel their appeal, but your city and county representatives do not have to go along.
Reflexive law was first suggested in 1983 by a German legal scholar, and has since been adopted as the legal framework to implement Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development throughout the world. Reflexive law is destroying all concepts of the traditional Rule of Law upon which Western civilization was founded.
ALL of those links I’d call recommended reading. On the last one, we learn about a NACEC related to a rider to 1992 “NAFTA” and references to using presidential executive orders to bypass required Senate consent on treaties (!!).
North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation (NAAEC), which established the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC)
Wow. Here’s the NACEC website, showing (if you click) a council of only three — ONE representative from each country, with the one from US being Obama’s 2013 appointment for EPA, Gina McCarthy:
Three countries working together to protect our shared environment
Patrick Wood’s article 2004, above, speaks of Podesta, Obama, Clinton Administration, TriLateral Commission, etc. Notice that the year 2004 is when “Freedom Advocates” filed in California; this is a 2004 article (now a DOZEN years old):
…Obama’s principal adviser and “negotiator” on this so-called climate accord is John Podesta, and this whole “treaty-by-executive-order debacle can be laid squarely at his feet. Until just recently, Podesta was a member of the Trilateral Commission. He was Bill Clinton’s chief-of-staff in the 1990s and the original instigator of Executive Branch policy of using Executive Orders to bypass Congress on certain issues. Clinton, also a Trilateral member, created many such EO’s to side-step Congress, and Congress unfortunately let him get away with it.** Well, Podesta is back: I have stated publicly on several radio programs since his recent appointment to Senior Policy Adviser To The President that Podesda is the most dangerous man in Washington.
**Republican Presidents also do this — the year is 2004, and somehow this one missed the “Faith-based Initiative,” or Bush Administration in general…
Enough about Podesda (sic). Just remember that he is the prime mover in what I am about to reveal.
The NYT article states,
To sidestep that requirement [of a 2/3 Senate vote], President Obama’s climate negotiators are devising what they call a “politically binding” deal that would “name and shame” countries into cutting their emissions. The deal is likely to face strong objections from Republicans on Capitol Hill and from poor countries around the world, but negotiators say it may be the only realistic path.
Several weeks ago, while doing some research for my upcoming book, Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation, a book had caught my eye and so I impulsively bought it. The title was Greening NAFTA by Markell and Knox and published in 2003 by Stanford University Press. According to the book, there was a supplemental agreement to NAFTA (1992) called the North American Agreement on Environmental Cooperation (NAAEC), which established the North American Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC). The CEC was “the first international organization created to address the environmental aspects of economic integration.” (1)
Great text, but how does this explain choice of fiscal agent Edward Charles Foundation for a group associated with one of the two complainants? What is the purpose of setting up a nonprofit which barely exists (in both cases — I didn’t explore the Public Sustainability Institute side in this post. If readers are curious and want to see what I did look up (stored in word processing, not on-line documents), submit a comment).
I see from the website http://globalizationofcalifornia.com/?page_id=2807 that they are still claiming tax-exempt organization status for contributions to the litigation fund, dates as late as 2014 and 2015. Click under the “I-580 Billboards Campaign” to see that (in the fine print) Michael Shaw also has an LLC, “Citizens for Free Speech, LLC.” Again, the content sounds reasonable, but I am concerned about the “containers” — meaning those individuals’ self-reported entities.
(Click around site to see reference to “Citizens for Free Speech” and then notice this LLC was only formed in 2014, as a Nevada Corporation)

What’s more, ABAG is filed as a form of government, not a private association; I’m wondering what’s the standing to sue.
There is an image on this page of a DVD set. Click on the image and it leads back to a “Freedom Advocates” page showing that it’s selling for $29.95… and others (one for $64.95, the others cheaper, and at the bottom of page, it says “Freedom Advocates Productions” but click on that and you’re back to “Edward Charles Foundation” as fiscal agent at the bottom of the page..
The plot to transform the San Francisco Bay Area into a political “Region” is largely unknown by the residents living there and overwhelmingly opposed by those who do know. The global boiler plate program called One Bay Area (OBA) or Plan Bay Area will roll out across the nation on a grand scale. OBA involves more than $250,000,000,000 (over a quarter of a trillion dollars). The plan destroys rural and suburban lifestyles and transforms areas into dense mega-cities where people are assessed, monitored and controlled. Sound extreme?Regional government is promulgated through Councils of Governments (COGs) and serves to neuter local government through a federalized system of carrots and sticks. COGs are designed to be the primary engine in the United States to advance Agenda 21 at the local level. The Plan for the Bay Area is the prototype of what COGs throughout the country will commit to if the Plan is implemented in the Bay Area. Over time the Plan abolishes private property as a system of public private partnerships assume control of our economic future.Michael Shaw of Freedom Advocates and Rosa Koire of The Post Sustainability Institute are spearheading a lawsuit to block the implementation of Plan Bay Area, an agenda created by the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG). The lawsuit challenges the Plan on the basis of Constitutional and/or statutory violations inherent in the Plan. These include state and federal equal protection violations, and violation of the state constitutional guarantee that each city and county has autonomy from coercive state control and regionalist philosophy. Article XI of the California State Constitution guarantees city and county autonomy, and the 14th Amendment of the Federal Constitution guarantees equal protection.
You Can Help!
Freedom Advocates has established a litigation fund to halt the One Bay Area Plan’s affront to the American system of government. You can participate in the effort to restore our historic local system of government by contributing to the legal action to stop ABAG’s One Bay Area program and ultimately abolish the COG system. Read the outstanding Opening Brief (below) written by attorney Timothy Kassouni and help us carry this lawsuit through to the finish! We need your financial help to avoid an administrative takeover of America including the restructure of your entire way of life. Go to the Donate page to make a contribution to support our litigation.
Freedom Advocates has recaptured its 501(c)(3) eligibility status, so your donations are tax deductible.

Fragment from the NACEC website — as of 2016 they have just announced their first grants, 21 projects in three countries. Following the HHS tradition of when, announcing grantees, making the readers or public do most of the look-up legwork, and providing minimal information (including no link, no contact number, no EIN#, and no link to any database recording FROM SHICH SOURCE (accessible to citizens of all three countries) these grants are drawn, etc.) (Gee, ALL the print on this website tranlsates as “Giant” in copying onto wordpress):
Recognizing that ecosystems do not follow political boundaries but rather often cross state, provincial and national borders, and that individual investments made by each country can achieve greater success if a shared sense of responsibility and stewardship for the environment across North America is developed, the Parties, through the CEC, established a grant program, the North American Partnership for Environmental Community Action (NAPECA) in 2010.
NAPECA is intended to support a flexible and diverse set of project types that will improve access to resources provided by the Parties through the CEC for smaller, more hands-on organizations and that build partnerships at the community level with a focus on sustainable communities and urban initiatives.
Project types can include, but are not limited to building capacity, pilot projects, transfer of innovative technologies, conducting outreach or education, sharing best practices, training environmental leaders, reducing risks to the environment, and many other types of non-regulatory efforts.

This Absolutely Uncommon Analysis shouldn't be!
What I do here: I expose the Systems Design, and the Designers, so Y.O.U. can Show Others, and to notify those playing certain games, "you've been flagged."
Heard of "disruptive technologies?" Disruptive innovations?
Well, this is a disruptive blog. I give people who've already been strung out and stripped down BY the system another place to stand and look at it, and a clear, fairly diagnostic language (vs. pretty logos and moving pictures) to describe it to others. AND, which many don't do, I tell how I found the information; links databases and all.
Despite the blog's appearance, I know what I'm doing! You're looking at long-term leverage, in the hands of the "non-experts," in the public interest, not public funded propaganda to drive business to private pockets. Hence, I'm not afraid to ask:
The formula for this public/private business model isn't really that complex, but the concept itself was just so devious, insidious, parasitic, grandiose, and by now, so baked into the economic, institutional infrastructure, people either don't notice, or, in a common, cowardly, but all too human response they see, and just start denying, or looking for nicer explanations of an ugly truth -- where it's heading. For lack of nicer, but still honest terms, it's heading towards yet more slavery (and tolerating it) and genocide (and tolerating it). [[2019 comments: and the ability to drive the U.S., in particular, into even more, bigger, and more costly/dangerous wars, discrediting us (further) internationally. But I wrote this sidebar many years ago..]]
As a woman, mother, a family court and domestic violence survivor [yes, he was a hitter, and more], who has already 'faced the music' in more ways than I can count, to the best of my ability, I do not do "denial." I also ask the public, what's left of it, to just not go down that Denial Road, and with it lose more of their innate humanity, perception, and ethics. There is another way out, one with a conscience:
Really want system change? Make up your mind to understand government financing -- change yourself first. Find and read your local "CAFR" (government's Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports), a wonderful source of information, with flow chart, descriptions of component or blended government units it's reporting on, and reporting the balances in each fund -- ever heard of a "Balance Sheet"? Looking for this also reveals just how many governmental business entities ARE there? Find them. Read. Think about what you see. What does it mean?
Governments tend to pool their investments, for example, "CALPERS" (essentially created ca. 1931) is the largest "public pension" investing platform around, or at least in the country. Getting started earlier sure helped, then adding players (subscribers) over time ALSO did. In 1985, add "CII" Council on Institutional Investors (members: in 31states and D.C.) (LA Times 1985 article on Calif. Politician (state treasurer, assembly speaker) Unruh whose idea it was for the Council so institutional funds could "flex their muscle"; and push for corporate governance reform. CII members now control $3 trillion of assets)-- my point being, government holdings are invested and when pooled like this, are major clout, but the average person never reads even a single government entity's annual financial reports to take a look. (I wasn't aware of them til 2012!)
Governments not only invest their funds in business, they also by legislation, patenting, and protections, set them up to win, or lose. So, "know thy government" is a great place to start. (See blog/see links in the blog).
